Props

I’ve made a lot of things, many of them unique one-off pieces based on my own imagination, others replicas from various movies, games, books, and other assorted media. Everyone has a genre, theme, aesthetic or fandom that they love and identify with. It’s with that in mind, that I make things. Sometimes people want a piece of something they love, or they need a unique costume prop for their own style or character.
I’ll gladly work with you and send you photos, updates and clarifications throughout the build

Texture and Wear

These are what brought me into Props and Mods in the first place. I am a texture master, and bring that skill to the pieces I make. By default, my pieces are going to look well used and well aged. The props I make are often the tools of the character who's being portrayed. Anyone who's used a hammer, knows it doesn't stay clean long. That's the angle I bring to my work, your weapon is a tool, it should look it.

Nerf Mods

If you’re here, you’ve likely seen or heard of my Nerf Mods!
My HaazLab Etsy page is where you can find MOST of my stock on hand. I’ve sold pieces all over the world, including an Escape Room in Germany, I’ve helped supply Dystopia Rising players and can and will often include factions or logos if requested for a nominal fee. Most of what I produce is whatever I feel like making at the time, but I absolutely love commissions, custom orders. fan requests or even challenges!

Note: I do not Mod the internals of the guns, I've met too many LARPers who want and need a stock weapon. At most, I might open it up and give it a good cleaning.

Hornguns

Battery powered cacophonous props!
These are something of a specialty of mine, each one is unique. They are a TON of fun to build, but require time to bodger the parts together.

While many are built with a custom made reverberator, I have begun working with small air compressors to make the Hornguns smaller and LOUDER

Sculpture

I became a full time artist during the Covid-19 Pandemic, in so doing that, I had the time to build things I’d only really ever dreamt of. With no conventions going on. I first built myself a Woodman from Luke Pearson’s Hilda, and then took on the wacky idea of building myself Mystery Science Theater 3000 robots in a more steampunk aesthetic, as well as keeping to their original design and inspirations.

Woodman’s head spins, and his mug of tea can be removed!
Tom Servo’s Plasma ball lights up, and Crow’s eyes are functional Edison lightbulbs

These were built for display, and currently enrich my home, but I’d love to help make something for your home!

To help him keep his sanity, Chief Haazard build himself robot friends
